What the picks say
Five questions the 403 visits can answer, each on its own page. Everything here is read off the same tables the directories are built from, and every page says which of the site's three counts it is using, because the answer often depends on it.
Patterns
Country, era and genre against what the shelf actually offers, so a preference is only a preference where it differs from availability. Plus what a guest's trade predicts about the cinema they reach for.
Ratings
Where the closet's taste and the public's part company, and how long the films guests reach for actually run.
Together
The guests whose choices resemble each other most, and the pairs of films that keep leaving the shelf together. Guests filmed in the same room are excluded: they picked from one list.
Packaging
24.6% of the collection has been reached without anybody choosing it: a box set it sits in left the shelf. What the shelf's own shape decides, against what a guest did.
Lineage
528 pairs where one guest reached for another guest's own film, and not one of them runs both ways. A director's work gets taken off the shelf; the taking is never returned.
